The interaction between Technology and Tax is becoming increasingly more important within business. We are witnessing more and more companies setting up specialist Tax Technology teams within their HQ Tax Functions.

In response to this, at the end of 2017, BPA took the opportunity to acquire specialist Tax Technology Recruitment business, Talentpool. Integrating the business into the BPA business, we are re-branding Talentpool as BPA TaxTech. This new business will focus on recruiting tax professionals (with strong tax systems skills) and IT people (who have experience of working within the Tax function) into multinationals around the world.

In many countries worldwide, tax authorities now have direct interaction with a company’s tax and IT systems and we will see this grow further in the next few years. As this develops and as tax authorities around the world continue to work together and speak with each other, BPA sees the ‘TaxTech’ business assisting clients with what is the newest recruitment development in the Tax market.
